URGENT - Submition of abstracts for pitch contest until 15th October
INTRODUCTION
Process Engineering is, par excellence, the field that enables the optimization and adaptation of production processes by combining solid technical expertise with in-depth knowledge of each facility's specific operational reality. It is, therefore, the domain where technical knowledge is advanced and where new projects and strategies are brought to fruition.
Current challenges in our sector—such as production diversification (leading to an expanded portfolio of products, raw materials, and auxiliary agents), the need for cost rationalization, and increasingly stringent environmental requirements—make a dynamic and innovative approach to Process Engineering essential.
Furthermore, the way Process Engineering is conducted and how it integrates with various business areas present significant challenges in their own right, warranting reflection and debate.
Against this backdrop, and following the model of the "Water Day" event, Tecnicelpa has decided to dedicate a full day to this topic. This event is intended to serve as a benchmark for technical updates, experience sharing, and reflection within the field of Process Engineering, complementing the organization's international conference.
OBJECTIVES
• Deepen members' technical knowledge regarding Process Engineering in the pulp, paper, and energy sectors;
• Update, disseminate, and foster the sharing of knowledge and experience (networking) in this field;
• Establish a flagship event that serves as a regular meeting point for the sector to discuss topics related to Process Engineering.
ADDRESSED TO
The event is designed for operations personnel, including:
• Process engineers;
• Project engineers and technicians;
• Operational managers;
• Technicians and engineers specializing in industrial equipment;
• Technicians and engineers working in chemistry and process development.
