INTRODUCTION
The TECNICELPA/ Kraft Recovery Course is a comprehensive review of the important recovery operations in kraft pulp mills with the objective of helping improve pulp production efficiency, minimize operating costs and reduce environmental impact.
The lecturers, Honghi Tran, Maria Bjork, C. Fróis do Amaral and Vitor Lucas, are internationally recognized experts. They will provide practical day-to-day information through presentations, Q&A sessions and workshops.
GUIDELINES
Course participants will learn the chemistry, physics and engineering principles related to kraft recovery, and after successfully completing the course, be able to:
• Describe the kraft recovery process
• Describe individual unit operations in the process
• Identify causes and solutions for various recovery operating problems
ADDRESSED TO
The course is designed for pulp mill operations personnel, including:
i) engineers and superintendents working in the kraft recovery area,
ii) senior pulp mill operators, superintendents looking for new kraft recovery ideas or a refresher course,
iii) process engineers, technical sales and support staff from chemical, equipment and consulting companies, and
iv) University researchers and graduate students doing research projects on energy and chemical recovery in pulp mills

After 31st January the fee will increase 50% and there will be no reimbursment in case of non attendance.
