Refinação de pastas - PULP REFININGSeminário TECNICELPA 6 horas

GUIDELINES
Review the theory related to the fiber refining process and its relevance / importance for the paper production, either on PM runnability impact, as on paper properties and functionality at end-user applications.
Highlight the fundamental distinguishing characteristics of eucalyptus fibers and find adequate refining treatments that enhances them, getting competitive advantages.
Characterization of current state of the art technology for refining and front edge control technics. Define the equipment important characteristics to obtain a desired treatment, with the least possible energy consumption.
Complementary methods of fiber treatment using enzymatic or chemical treatments: the basics behind these emerging technologies, the dificulties and solutions known and successful case studies.

PURPOSE
Debate the importance of refining on papermaking and discuss the different approaches and possibilities to achieve its results, lowering the energy consumption and the fiber damage

ADDRESSED TO
