The Association
Tecnicelpa is the Portuguese Association of Technicians of the Pulp and Paper Industries, a non-profit professional association.
The Association was born on June 15, 1980, under the sign of the old Papermakers, and adopted as a symbol of his flag, the coat of arms of the “Corporation of Artists” of the former Netherlands, and the old watermark with the ox's head, common in this art from the paper makers and which symbolizes the power of the word and the creative art, on a blue background that represents the indispensable water for the manufacture of paper and pulp.
The Association organizes Technical Seminars, in the form of short-term Information and Training actions on a wide range of topics.
Members
The Association brings together a wide range of individual members (technicians from the sector) and collective members (manufacturers and suppliers in the sector and other higher education and research entities).
Member off EUCEPA (Comité Européen de Liaison pour la Celulose et Papier), in Paris, which brings together 14 European associations, actively participates in exchanges between its European counterparts and has agreements with the IPE and protocols with the Brazilian association ABTCP. Together we are all better!

Formation
Tecnicelpa's main objective is to train and promote the technical-professional and scientific improvement of its associates, within the pulp and paper industries. In our events, networking is one of the greatest assets already recognized over the years.
Tecnicelpa - Portuguese Association of Technicians of the Pulp and Paper Industries, saw the merit of the activity it develops with attribution of the diploma of legal person of Public Utility, by order of the Prime Minister of July 26, 2000.

Tecnicelpa provides an informative organ, the magazine INFO, which is intended to inform its members about the relevant facts of the Pulp and Paper Industry sector and the life of the Association.
