• Please submit your abstract Online attaching your document in PDF format (preferably), or in MS Word. A simultaneous pre-registration is also performed for the corresponding author. Once the submission process is complete the corresponding author will receive a notification by e-mail. If you do not receive a message within 24 h please re-submit the abstract or contact the secretariat.
• English is the preferred language but abstracts could also be submitted in Portuguese. In this case, a second abstract written in English, in the same file, is mandatory.
• The authors should indicate the topic that best suits their paper and what kind of presentation they suggest (oral or poster). The final decision, however, will be taken by the Scientific and Organizing Committees after the evaluation of all abstracts, according to the novelty, interest and quality of the work as well as to the Conference Programme constraints.
• The Abstracts will be forwarded to the Scientific Committee to be evaluated.
• Information on the abstracts acceptance/refusal will be sent to the corresponding author’s e-mail address, as well as the topic assigned, presentation type (oral / poster), work registration number and programme scheduling.
• An accepted abstract constitutes a commitment by the author to present their work at the Conference.
• The Abstracts will be published in the Proceedings Book and the Full Manuscripts in the Conference site online. Only the Abstracts following the guidelines and further submitted as a Full Manuscript in the correct format (please see the corresponding guidelines), if selected for oral presentation, will be published. At least one of the authors must be registered. The number of papers per registered author is limited to three, regardless whether they were chosen for poster or oral presentation.
• A comprehensive evaluation of the manuscript will be carried out by the Scientific Committee following previously defined and strict criteria. Eventual modification of the full manuscript found necessary will then be communicated to the corresponding author, together with the deadline for sending the final version in PDF format.
• An improved version of the Abstract previously accepted may be sent by the corresponding author by 30 June, 2016. If this is the case, the corresponding author must indicate it in the “Notes” field of the online Submission Form.
