INVITATION

We are pleased to announce that TECNICELPA will organize once again its most important event, the XXIII TECNICELPA Conference, between 12 and 14 October 2016.

The venue of the event will be the Fundação Dr. António Cupertino de Miranda, at Oporto, allowing the Participants and Exhibitors to contact actively and to enjoy the same space for both the Conference and the Exhibition - EXPOCELPA.

Considering the international character of the conference, the official languages will be Portuguese and English. This conference is expected to join Academics, Scientists, Technicians and Manufacturers from all over the world working in the Forestry, Pulp and Paper field and is therefore an event you should not miss. The program will include technical visits to portuguese plants (EUROPAC Viana e DOW Portugal). 

The Organizing Committee of the XXIII TECNICELPA Conference is most pleased to invite authors to submit an abstract of their work, as for oral or poster presentation, addressing one of the following specific topics:

• Forest
• Raw materials for pulp and paper process
• Pulp Production
• Papermaking (including P&W papers, Tissue, Packaging, Recycling, Converting and Printing)
• Energy and Environment
• Biotechnology and Biorrefinery
• Novel applications for pulp and paper / New pulp and paper based materials
• Other support activities 

Other subjets related, will be included in the above topics mentioned, according to the contents.

The General Program includes invited plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations and a technical visit. In addition to the Welcome Reception and the Conference Banquet, the organization offers an attractive Social Programme around Oporto, one of the most beautiful historic Portuguese cities, to provide enjoyable moments for accompanying persons.

The best oral presentation and the best poster of the conference will be recognized. Additionally, the traditional “TECNICELPA Award", created in order to stimulate the production of technical and scientific works carried out in Portugal (Companies, Universities or Research Institutes) by Portuguese or foreign authors working in the forestry, pulp and paper fields, will also be delivered to a selected paper in a ceremony to be held during the event.

The Organizing Committee of the XXIII TECNICELPA - International Forest, Pulp and Paper Conference 2016 have the honour to invite all Scientists, Papermakers, Technicians, Manufacturers and Suppliers who work in the area, to participate in this event. The Authors, Exhibitors and Sponsors have a dedicated section in this website.
